A Beautiful Sculpture from Meissen
Here’s a masterpiece from Staatliche, the porcelain Manufacturer from Meissen, Germany. In 1931, designer Paul Scheurich created 50 busts, all signed. The busts are made from red fine stoneware and are 12″ tall. I just think this is a really beautiful sculpture. I wish I could afford the price. But, if you think about how much a designer purse costs, $900 isn’t really that much to spend. And you’ll have it to hand down to your children, which can’t always be guaranteed with a designer bag.
