Beautiful Things from Madeline Weinrib
Madeline Weinrib has an eclectic and beautiful line of pillows, carpets, furniture and fashion. She’s the great-granddaughter of the founder of ABC Carpet & Home and has opened her own atelier on the 6th floor, but you can check out her site here. Her sells to the trade and you can find her things at various retail shops throughout the country, including Calypso Home, which has several locations in New York. Sadly, no retailers in Michigan carry her products (hint, hint!).
Anyway, here are some of my Madeline Weinrib favorites.
These pillows are made from vintage fabrics. They remind me of the 1960′s
This carpet comes in several sizes. I love this line. It would look great in contemporary as well as traditional settings. The runner, below is ultra-cool. I love the colorway.
One of her larger carpets, which comes in several sizes. I love her choice of colors.
This really zings!

What do you think of Madeline’s style? Do you have a favorite? Have you seen her things in real life?

Hi~ in 2003 I bought a beautiful Suzani quilt/wall hanging in Uzbekistan WAY out in a western part of the country. It had been hanging in a dusty little store on the wall for who knows how long. I was wondering if you think it would be harmful to dry clean it, or should I just leave it alone? I would like to drape it over my quilt rack. I am nervous because a lot of the fabric and threads forming the beautiful flower patterns came undone on their own.
Thanks~
Noelle
