Chair of the Day
I love writing my Chair of the Day posts. This is my 181st and one I’m really proud of. (It’s getting increasingly challenging to find something really eye catching.) That’s why I’m so proud to have found this on Designboom.
Artist Simone Racheli has designed an entire series of meat “by-products“. To quote Designboom, “Racheli creates rather curious pieces of work. His art recreates common consumer products to look like they are made of meat… Racheli has created a toilet, iron, hairdryer and patio chair all made to look like the fat, sinew and muscle of meat.” One thing’s for sure, I’m having steak tonight!
This chair is especially appropriate because this is Kitchen & Bath Week on Design Hole. And what better way to segue into it? Have an idea for a side table? How about a “Side Salad Table”? Be sure to let me know.
