Chair of the Day
Remember Ren and Stimpy? If you do you’ll remember the great ads for Log and the little song, “It’s big, it’s heavy, it’s wood, It’s better than bad – it’s good!” When I saw this version of Log, I had to post it as Chair of the Day.

Maybe designer Naoto Fukasawa was thinking of Ren and Stimpy when he designed this splendid version for Swedesi. It is, indeed, called Log and like the original, it’s big (and little and comes in a storage table version), it’s heavy (as in cool, but not weight), and it’s wood (oak to be exact). Retail prices range from $895 for the stool to $1995 for the large bench. You can find it at Mezzanine.
