Chair of the Day
Close your eyes and imagine deep dark heavy breathing. Slowly. In and out. You hear a voice. Dark and mysterious. “Luke, come to the dark side. Luke, I am your father.”
And that’s about as close as designer-extraordinaire, Konstantin Grcic will ever get to an association with Darth Vader. I know I’ve featured a different version of Chair One before. But I love it! This time Magis has added 2 different cushions in different colors and called it Cuscini One. It definitely needs a cushion. The original Chair One was designed for a public park and had a concrete base. So, comfort wasn’t a priority. I used this chair for a commercial project and we had cushions made for it. Isn’t that fascinating? This number is available at Linear Contemporary Furniture.

Great design can live anywhere. And the cushion comes in lots of colors. Go for it, Chris!
Absolutely love this chair! Even the hot pink cushion is strangely appealing. Might have to make some room for it in the game room. It can go next to my Star Wars stand-up full-sized arcade game.
