Christopher Paul’s Modern Mats
Christopher Paul sent me some photos of his new floor mat designs for Fall. I think they’re a great idea for outdoor areas and would work really well in mud rooms, entry halls and other areas that get a lot of foot traffic. Hey, beach houses, too!
His hip designs are painted onto canvas and made into rugs, which are finished with a protective coating. A non-slip backing keeps it from sliding around. Christopher says they’re a great, low maintenance solution because they wipe clean. His designs come in different sizes. Check out his site here.
Now, you could make one yourself with some acrylic paint and polyurethane. But, if you’re time-crunched and don’t have the creative knack to come up with your own design (stealing is a big no-no), then his creative designs are the way to go.
