Covered chairs and an Olefin “sisal” mat. Been there!
I like the rug and the cocktail table. But haven’t we seen enough sea foam green? Ho hum. And what are those things on the mantle?
Covered chairs! Gee, where have I seen that before?
There’s that sisal mat again. What’s with only one panel at the window? Anyway, that pendant is too low.
Design House is a Snooze
I saw the photos from Coastal Living’s annual show house. Snore! I always look forward to seeing new ideas at a show house. But these rooms just look decorated, and not all that well, either. Did someone say, “Scrimp”? Because it looks like that’s what they were doing.

You may think I’m being too harsh. The rooms aren’t exactly ugly. But, there’s no wow-factor at all. And that’s what a show house is all about. Push the envelope a little. What’s your opinion?
