Bravo to 2Modern for posting a terrific article about Detroit. It’s filled with lots of info about things to do and see. There’s a lot more to see besides the crumbling factories! While you’re here don’t forget to stop by The Detroit Institute of Arts to see the Ansel Adams exhibit.

I don’t watch animal planet, but I know what you mean. There’s a shop here that sells a T-shirt I take with me as a gift when visiting friends. It says, “Detroit, Where the Weak are Killed and Eaten.”

Don’t forget the other Detroit t-shirt. It has an image of a gun pointed at you, and it says “Come Back To Detroit. Sorry We Missed You.”

Yes, that’s another fave. Of course, we don’t wear those shirts here in Detroit. We have to give them as gifts to out-of-towners. Why? We’re too afraid of making someone mad!
If you just watched Animal Planet, one would think Detroit was full of nothing but dilapidated housing and sadistic animal torturers…;)
