Donald Trump has just introduced a furniture collection
at Macy’s

The collection, now at select Macy’s stores, will be in
independent stores this month. There are two lines: the
sleek Central Park and the more traditional Westchester,
both inspired by furniture in Mr. Trump’s five homes
and his business properties – although his favorites, like
a sofa at Mar-a-Lago, his $42 million Palm Beach estate,
were impossible to reproduce. Mar-a-Lago is always
tough, said Mr. Trump

But that nubby brown Fifth Avenue sofa, which is
$1,899 during Macy’s semiannual furniture sale: If one
were to go to Mr. Trump’s apartment, would one actually
find anything in this price range? I wish I could get a bargain like this, Mr. Trump
said. What I have cost much more money, and it’s no
nicer. I think I like this one better.
