Don’t Forget the Black

Here’s another quick color tip that a friend of mine was talking about the other day: Don’t Forget the Black. This may seem silly, but some decorators swear by it, and in the right place it really does work. Basically the rule is to throw something black into every room. It could be a picture frame, a vase or some shelves as shown above. It gives a room a little bit of evil (I mean punch)
