Exquisite Glow Lighting

I’m in North Carolina for the weekend and stopped by Exquisite Glow Lighting to see what they have to offer. Fortunately, they were having a great sale and the owner, Jennifer Quaintance, gave me a professional discount on top. I found some really great lamps; good quality with a great modern look. The have some beautiful nautical-style lamps; none of your tacky theme lamps (personal pet peeve). I bought a couple of lamps from the Kathy Ireland (can you believe it?) line.

They really raise the look of the bedroom I put them in. The room hasn’t been painted yet, so it’s looking a bit drab. The transformation made me realize just how much impact a great lamp has on a room. It’s a little thing, but what a difference. My point is that sometimes you don’t need all new furniture to make a room look great; just one or two updated lamps can do the trick. It’s $225 (before the discount) very well spent.

I wish I had some before and after photos, but they’ll have to wait until I get home. I forgot to bring the-connect-the-camera-to-the-computer thingy!
