Holiday Mart a Smashing Success
Phew! I’m resting my feet after a long, very successful weekend as Co-Chair of the annual Holiday Mart fund raiser for Planned Parenthood where vendors from around the US came to Grosse Pointe, set up shop and peddled their wonderful wares. Booth rentals and 15% of their sales go towards this very worthy cause.
Items for sale ranged from handbags and clothes, to home accessories and gourmet treats. One of my favorites was The Great Lakes Tea and Spice Company. They got my vote for best gift boxes, most beautiful booth decor and best packaging. If you’re interested in attending next year’s event as a vendor, pop me an email.

The Holiday Mart this year was terrible. The selection of item was so scarce it was not worth the $5 or the effort.
