Mezzanine Now Open!
Fellow Detroiters, here’s the news we’ve been waiting for! Joe Posch has opened up shop at his new location in downtown Detroit. His cutting edge home design store, Mezzanine, has relocated from Ann Arbor to 206 E. Grand River. That’s the Merchant’s building, second floor, on the corner of Grand River and Broadway.
The first phase of Mezzanine is the front showroom of furniture, lighting and decorative accessories. They carry most of the great lines they carried in Ann Arbor, along with some fantastic new additions such as Knoll (having a sale now!) and contemporary Dutch manufacturer Moooi. (Love them!)
In six to eight weeks they’ll will open the second half of the store. The “Library” will contain books, magazines and music along with accessories for the office. The “Back Room” will feature a curated selection of modern tabletop.
Joe says, “I am absolutely thrilled to be open again, and to be in the middle of everything in downtown Detroit. Old friends, please stop in and say hello. New friends, stop in and introduce yourselves!”
I’m there Joe! Thanks for the great news and good luck. For those of you who aren’t lucky enough to live in the city “where the weak are killed and eaten” you can shop Mezzanine’s fantastic selection online by clicking here.
