New things from Julianna Grove Presents
Julie Grove sent me some photos today featuring work from two new artists. Her site, Julianna Grove Presents, is an online collection of art and home accessories.
First up are pillows from Showpony. The collection is called “Hidden Patterns.” Folds in the material hide the darker side of the pattern. For example, leafy trees become bare when you flip the fabric. Think about how hard that is to create on a flat textile and get the folds just right. I like these. They’re different. Her pillows start at $40.00.
Next are these wacky felt confections from Suzanne Smith. I really love these.
Suzanne has made a collection of fairy cakes (that’s a cupcake on this side of the pond), and truffles. So cute. They start at $14.00. They look good enough to eat.
