Peace of Cake

This is a lot of fun. It’s called Cake of Peace, a porcelain centerpiece from Studio Job designers Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel. It’s part of a collection called “Biscuit” for Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum and was introduced at the Salone del Mobile in 2006. The collection is composed of several different plates and centerpieces. This is my favorite. I don’t know if you can actually put a cake in there. But it would make an awesome wedding gift for a very special bride because it retails for $1,055! Almost everything available at Moss is expensive. They’re also quite unique, too. It’s definitely great eye candy.
