Throw Your Party Dress on the Floor?

I love this area rug from FLOR. It’s called Party Dress and is comprised of tiles from Fedora and Party Dress. It comes in two colors, Brick and Chartreuse. Use it under a hall table, or to add a lot of zip to an otherwise ordinary room. It’s on back-order until September 28th. Are you interested in purchasing this at a 10% discount? Email me.

I love Flor’s products. I even had an area rug several years ago when the company was brand new. It looked amazing. The only problem was that after a few months the carpet smelled so bad that I had to throw it away. I don’t smoke. I do not cook aromatic foods. I have a dog and 2 cats. The dog does not shed. And I vacuumed at least once a week. I tried using baking soda (covering the carpet and letting it sit for several hours), but that did not eliminate the odor either. I would be hesitant to get another Flor carpet again for this reason. Maybe they can recommend a specific cleaner to absorb normal odors? Thanks! I love your blog!
