Tree Trunk Love
I’m just putting the finishing touches on a large patio project for a client and it’s been so much fun all I can think about it how much I want to repeat the process for my own backyard. There’s a lot of truth to the saying that the cobblers children wear no shoes. Who’s got time to take care of one’s own backyard? So in my spare moment I thought I’d let my fingers do the walking over to Detroit Garden Works to see what’s new.
I found this amazing early 20th century French faux bois stump and branch reproduction table and stools. I’m not an outdoor expert, so maybe everyone who anyone knows all about this, but I’ve never seen this style before. Awesome! Maybe it will become my inspiration for a new project.

This is quite interesting. It is organic, mystical and classical at the same time. A trend may be emerging with the faux bois stump and branch furniture; I saw them on several publications lately.
I am also curious to know who makes this furniture.
