Victoria’s Ragpatch
Whenever I’m here at Sunset Beach, I’ve got to stop by Victoria’s Ragpatch. They’ve got a great mix of clothing, and baby things downstairs. Always beautiful things there. But upstairs you’ll find home accessory heaven.
Victoria does a great job of merchandising. You just want to buy everything. She arranges things by color on tables, benches and shelves through-out the shop.
The shop is located at 10164 Beach Dr SW, just next to Sunset Beach in Calabash, North Carolina. Unfortunately, they don’t have a website (yet), but I’m keeping my fingers crossed so that I can shop all year.
Here is a table set for an evening dinner apr?©s la plage. Like those seagulls.
She also sells cookies, jams and other tasty comestibles in the kitchen section.
I bought a fantastic beach tote on wheels. I’ll have to take a picture of it. You can load everything in it and just roll it over the boardwalk (past the dunes) to the beach. It comes in lots of different sizes and fabrics. Check back later for photo.
So if you’re ever in Myrtle Beach (only a hop, kip and a jump from Calabash) or Sunset Beach, stop by.

Victoria’s Ragpatch is my favorite store! I had the opportunity to work for Vicki about 20 years ago while I was spending my college summers at Ocean Isle Beach. How fortunate for me to have ended up relocationg, as an adult, only 50 miles from there to Wilmington, NC. You are right, Vicki, has an unbelievable eye and talent for buying, merchandising, and selling. I want it all when I go in the store. Vicki has been so successful because her goal is wanting everyone to have “pretty things” whether they are clothes, home accessories or kitchen items. She knows we all deserve that! Her talent for putting colors together is like no one I have ever seen! I learned a lot from Vicki and I still keep in touch. In fact, while you are waiting for that website, if you ever need anything just give them a call and they will ship a box to you that is so much fun to receive, just like a piece of the beach when you are far away?
