Village Framing and Art Gallery
I had the great pleasure of working with Tom Clark, the owner of Village Framing and Art Gallery today. His shop is located in Dearborn on Monroe St. For those of you not from Detroit, Dearborn is the home of Henry Ford.
Tom helped me with some framing and the selection of original art for a client. He has an extensive selection of frames and limited edition prints. Tom also has a good eye. Check out his website here.
Framing art is a skill unto itself. There are so many ways to do it, so your framer needs to be an artist himself (or herself). I’ve always got an idea of how I want things to look, but sometimes I find that the framer has a better one – something new that I’d never heard of. Thanks Tom!
