Who Put the Mod in Modular?

Check out this really cool modular house kit. It’s got everything including the kitchen…. Oops, no kitchen sink. No bathroom either! But I guess you could put one in. I think of this as a rather expensive, but awfully cool backyard hideout.

It’s from kitHAUS and consists of modular units that you can assemble yourself. Mix and match them as you like to create a yoga hut, or a longhouse to house everyone in your commune.

As I said, kitHAUS is cool, but so pricey (the dog house is $3,500) that it’s hard to imagine why you’d buy one when it would be less expensive to have one built for you. One with a bathroom. What’s your opinion? What would you use your kitHAUS for?
