Chair of the Day: Chair Couture

With all the snow on the ground today, I’m in the mood for something green. Grassy green. Which is why I’m admiring this chair from Chair Couture.

Designer, Margaret Elman, starts with French antiques and gives them a modern twist by covering them with fabrics which she designs herself. Each textile is created for a specific piece, so they’re all one-of-a-kind. Margaret is currently using images from nature in her work. I especially love her dandelion bed.
