Chair of the Day: Presidential Desk Chair
We have a new president-elect! And it’s a whole new America. Obama is young and brings the promise of change. I think this means redecorating the White House. Don’t you?
Let’s start with the oval office and a new desk chair. Herman Miller’s Eames desk chair is an American classic designed by Charles and Ray Eames. It’s beautiful, like America. It’s comfortable, for long working days.
I’m waiting for Michelle to call. I just know she wants me to start working on the Lincoln Bedroom. And now I think I’ll go take my meds. :)

Yes, contemporary would be fantastic. I learned today that after each president leaves, the office is stripped bare, which surprised me. It always looks the same to me.

take a look at http://www.designerscall.com/trends-and-tips/ – we took a stab at a contemporary, less staid oval office, to reflect the new era of change!

I totally think the White House should be redecorated. Judging by what Michelle had on last night, I’m not sure super-traditional is where it’s at for them.
Wouldn’t you love to see some gorgeous contemporary furniture for a change? Why should the White House be all about history when this candidate was all about the future?
