Chair of the Day: Skateboard Chair
I hope you can discern what these chairs looks like from this photo. They’re made from skateboards and a hair salon chair base. Maybe they were made for an actual hair salon. Dunno. They are awesome. I love things that are made from other things – like the pants light fixtures at the Camper store in Paris (see earlier post from yesterday). (I know they weren’t made from real pants by the way – just in case you thought I was slow.)
Back to today’s chair. It’s a bit mysterious. I found this on a blog called bobby vomit’s blawg. The writing is interesting, in a unique way. Anyway, bobby doesn’t give any info on him/herself. But s/he has an email address. I left a comment, so maybe bobby will give us some much yearned for details on these great chairs.
