Chair of the Day: Sturgis Chair

Today’s chair comes from Design Hole reader, Ray. He writes a fun blog about the renovation and decoration of his home. He also runs a design shop in San Francisco.

The chair he sent me is called Sturgis and was designed by Gary Hutton. It’s currently being shown in an exhibition of west coast designers and crafts people. I like Hutton’s reference to Alexander Girard’s Quatrefoil fabric.
