Chair of the Day: Thonet Isis

Designed by Jake Phipps, Thonet-Vienna‘s¬† ISIS folding chairs were inspired by origami. They’re not only beautiful, but they fold completely flat. This means that it solves two problems at once. First, it’s easy to store. Second, it requires less packaging and less space to ship via container. Thus rendering the product somewhat green.¬†

Isis is made of beech wood with a plywood seat and back panels. It’s available in orange, black, white or blue.
