Design Dilemma?
I’m looking for more Design Dilemmas. So send them in! I know a lot of people are off on vacation and aren’t thinking about overhauling anything. In fact, I will be on vacation starting Friday. But perhaps you’re surfing the Internets right now after a day at beach and this post will get some gears turning for when you return.

I do have a couple that I’m working on – waiting for that extra information before I can cook up a solution. I often seek more info. So, I thought I’d pass along some of my more frequent requests to help speeed things along. I’d like to be able to do one each week and spend some time on it. The better the info the better the solution.
- So here’s a short list of things to think about when you put your dilemma together.
- Send lots of photos including at least one that shows the entire room(s), and any close-ups.
- Clean up the room before you take the photos! They’ll go online for all to see.
- Send some general measurements of the room so I have an idea of scale. Anything really important needs to be measured as well.
- Are there certain colors you love or hate? Pass those along.
- Send links to things you’re considering buying. Or at least the name of the sofa you like at Pottery Barn so I can look it up.
That’s it. Oh, and feel free to send anything else. The more info the better. If you need to send them in several emails, please do. The photos are best sent at 72 DPI.I love doing these Dilemmas. They’re lots of fun. So don’t be shy!
