Elizabeth Eakins Rugs
Here’s a great resource for rugs – Elizabeth Eakins. They’re similar to Dash & Albert, but a bit more upscale. Moreover, you can order samples, so you can easily decide on just the color and style you want. With Dash & Albert (which I also like), you have to order from a retail store – and that means choosing from a catalog. That’s difficult if you’re trying to match colors.
Elizabeth Eakins’ rugs are hand-loomed in India using natural dyes. Here are some of their styles.

We had a simply awful experience with Eakins. We purchased a very expensive stairway runner which almost immediately became badly stained. We contacted Eakins and they were most unhelpful; we have had the carpet professionally cleaned several times but the stain lifts back up each time. Eakins attitude was completely dismissive and has cost them hundreds of thousands in lost sales as our interior designer refuses to specify their products any longer.
