False Flat

I just finished reading a book on Dutch design. False Flat, written by Aaron Betsky and Adam Eeuwns, discusses the progress of post-WWII Dutch design - from furniture to graphic design. The art direction, by Irma Boom, is well done. I enjoyed reading it and would like to thank Phaidon Press for sending it to me.

I recommend it to anyone interested in the subject - especially students. If you liked Helvetica, the documentary about the world’s most famous type-face, you’ll like False Flat. It’s a good reference work, too.
