Interactive Wallpaper
Wallpaper is making a big comeback this year. I’m particularly drawn to the innovators who are using new technologies and a broader sense of creativity to transform traditional papers into something new. Rachel Kelly, the designer and owner of Interactive Wallpaper, is at the forefront of this trend.

Her studio offers two wallpapers, Long Flower and New Shoes. In addition, they sell dry decals and stickers, which can be used alone, or with the wallpaper to create an individual look. You can see how the stickers, above, are integrated into the wallpaper’s design.

Interactive Wallpaper’s site has a sticker lab where you can play around with their designs to create your own personal vision. The choices are mostly florals, which come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. They also offer a foils designed especially for applying to windows.

You can order samples, too. Rachel’s studio is in the UK. They ship worldwide and you can order online.

I agree. It’s an opportunity to be creative. I like the windows they did on their site.

I loved the interactive wall paper and it reminded me of a wall paper with moveable sea creatures and plants that I had for my son when he was younger. It’s so clever to find an adult version of the same concept. Afterall, we still need to be in touch with our inner-child.
