iPod Cover Lovers
I succumbed this year to an iPhone. I had a good excuse – I left my beloved Motorola mobile phone in a restaurant and it went bye-bye. I liked that phone because the paint had worn off and it was definitely an old school type of simple thing that did nothing (that I knew of) except take bad photos and make calls. But that’s why I liked it.
When it went missing I thought I might as well embrace the future with an iPhone. And I’m glad I did. ‘Nuf said. I’ve given my iPhone some personality and protection with a Gelaskin. There are tons of covers out there and they make nice little gifts. Here are a few of my favorites.
1. Gelaskins were the first covers I saw that I liked. They’re stickers, really. So they don’t make your iPhone or iWhatever more bulky. The design featured here is a Blue Willow, which sells for $15.
2. Alison Mahoney makes my new favorite for her company, Aria. Her Sparkly iPhone cover has too much appeal to pass up. You’ll be the only kid on your block to have one. Alison is an aspiring opera singer who crochets on the side. Her handmade cover retails for $15. Be sure to check out her hats. Super cool.
3. Gerbera Designs also makes unique covers from fun fabrics. A great way to protect and personalize your pod. These sell for $30 for an iTouch cover. She makes covers for all iPod products.

I love gelaskins. There’s one on every laptop in this house, and most of the iPods. I love that you don’t have to make a commitment either…
