Joiin Luminaire from Pallucco Italia
Today seems to be turning into New Product Day. Here’s a luminaire (the technical term for what the most of us call light fixtures) from Pallucco Italia. These illuminated ellipses, designed by Susanne Philippson, consist of a textile surface coated with microscopic glass beads.
When turned off, the beads catch the reflected ambient light. The ellipses can be joined together to form a more complex fixture.
The series, called Joiin, consists of one floor lamp and four pendant luminaires. They’re available in four colors, shown below.
