wow what an amazing website i just found it today! it is so full of information i could read it for days. I am a current design student in Kelowna B.C. Canada at the center of arts and technology and love interior design. I have a strong carpentry background and want to pursue to become an architect. . . i just wanted to say that i love what i am seeing on this website and am blessed that there are sites were students can learn and get ideas and support.

I would like to know more about color palettes and pulling a room together. I’m good at finding one great thing- be it the paint color or wallpaper but then my problem is making the rest of the room work with it!

so to enter all i have to do is tell you what i’d like to learn/see?

I love windows and i think in a room they should be a “comfort spot” especially bedrooms. Unfortunately not all houses come with bay windows/seat windows and its expensive to get one built. I’d like to know your thoughts/ideas/ possibly a DIY project on how to make a window an attractive and comfortable spot to lounge in.

I have a sad Domino story~ I rent a space at an Antique/Designer Mall in my town. I was a loyal Domino reader–obssesed to be exact. I also have a problem with hoarding shelter magazines!One day I decided to put all of my back issues of Domino out for sale at $1.00 a copy—this is before the publisher went bye-bye. All of my copies sold–Domino made the announcement–and now I am in mourning for all my Domino! I think they may be collector items ond day! :( Hope you feel better!

I would love to see more patterns because i am always looking for new interesting patterns for the fashion line i work on. but i am always a sucker for DIY projects, especially knitting and sewing ones!

I would love to see how to have a stylish home that is kid friendly & hands-on, but isn’t IKEA.
