Chair of the Day: Mercy Street’s Chair-ity Ball
Today’s chair is special. It’s one of the chairs designed by Detroit artists and donated to Mercy Street for their first annual Chair-ity Ball. Are you going?

One hundred chairs will be auctioned at this benefit for the Michigan Veterans Foundation and Veteran’s Haven. These are organizations that assist homeless veterans in southeast Michigan. Mercy Street is staging the event because, while only about six percent of folks in Michigan are veterans, vets reportedly make up about a third of Michigan’s homeless population.
The event is being held at The Tangent Gallery, in the New Center area of Detroit, on the evening of December 5th, from 7:00 – 10:00. Buy your tickets (only $10) now, because they’ll go up to $20 after November 27th. For all the details, visit this link.
