Chair of the day: Moroso’s Shadowy Chair
The Shadowy Deckchair evokes the beach furniture found at the North Sea in Northern Europe in the twenties. Remember?
Tord Boontje created Shadowy, and its companion lounger, for Moroso. They’re woven by expert African craftsmen using colored plastic threads. Shadowy has curious ruffles in the end parts, in the armrests and backrest that turn into a parasol cover.
The chairs look a bit like something from a Tim Burton movie. Don’t you think? Love it.
