Chair of the day: Payette Bench
I’m working on a kitchen project right now. It’s a fun mix of contemporary elements with antiques – my favorite. I came across this wonderful bench on my design search. It’s the Payette Bench, from The Farmhouse Collection.
It needs a cushion, but I like the subtle decoration and its beat-up look.
How about you? Is this not contemporary enough? Too Countrified?

love it….elegant, simple, classic…not countrified…more european…..maybe you’ve been influenced by your recent trip?
ooh, pretty! i love the intricate inlaid (carved?) pattern on the back and the curvy legs
