Crafty Wallpaper contest – Enter!

What would you do with 20 square feet of wallpaper that you’ve designed yourself? Win it, of course! It’s easy to enter. Just come up with an idea for a craft that uses wallpaper. Then, visit the contest sponsor, Alluminare and design a wallpaper pattern. (It’s really fun, by the way.) Paste the url of your design in the comments, along with your craft idea and you’re entered to win!

Heidi has already entered and here’s her design (above). Very retro and cool, don’t you think? She wants to cover her handmade carrying cases with this cool, retro style.

The contest ends at the end of the day on Monday and I’ll choose the winner at random. You’ll even get a Design Hole T shirt. Yay!

Avatars are randomly assigned unless you get your own

The custom wallpaper tool is so fun! It is hard to pick a favorite, but here is my entry:

I think it is a good choice for my project idea- to customize and make some predictable Ikea bookshelves more unique, I would like to paper the backs each shelf for an unexpected ‘pop’. An easy project that sounds fun!’

Wow, that was fun! I love that you get to choose more than 2 colors, I could play with that tool for hours!

Ok, my idea isn’t original since I saw it done by someone on Etsy but can’t afford her work. I would buy an inexpensive faux (resin) deer head to mount on the wall and cover it in this wallpaper and hang it in my foyer. I think it would be a fun look and a bit kooky (rather like me). :-)
