DH Gift Guide: 10 Great Gifts for iPods

Yay! My first gift guide is here at last. I know you’ve been counting the days. I’m starting things off with add-on suggestions for one of my favorite, can’t-live-without things – the iPhone. Actually, these gifts are great for an iPod, cell phone, etc…

1. Gelaskin Covers

keep-calm-ipod-coverI like Gelaskins because they protect your iPhone without making it bulky. They’ve got zillions of styles to choose from ($14.95). Here is a blogosphere favorite.

2. Vers Wooden iPhone Cover

Vers-wood-ipod-coverOn the opposite end of the spectrum, Vers makes this hip wooden cover. The iWhatever slides in. You’ll find this at my favorite gadget shop, Think Geek ($39.95).

3. Fallout Custom Headphones

fallout-custom-headphonesI styled these myself. I think the pink fur on Fallout’s custom headphones ($34.99) is so classy, yes? You can find these at iFrogz.

4. Aria Handmade Crocheted Cover

Alison-Mahoney-ipod-coverAlison, owner of Aria, crochets fabulous fashion accessories, including this sparkly iPod cover ($15.00). The perfect gift for your handmade favorite.

5 – 8 Can’t Miss Earbuds & Bean Bag

earbud-collectionI had no idea there were so many cool styles of earbuds out there. I found all of these at iFrogz, where they range in price from $14.99 to $19.99 for the wooden style (perfect for the Vers cover).

When your iPhone gets tired, it’s going to want to sit for a spell in something cozy. You can find this bean bag chair at Think Geek for a mere $9.99.

9. Syndey Angel Gameboy Cover

etsy-gameboy-ipod-coverI like this simple cover. I guess it’s fairly retro as well. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a Gameboy. Sydney Angel makes a variety of felt covers. They sell for $25.00. Cute!

10. Think Geek Retro Handset

bluetooth-receiver

An older version of this receiver has a fat, metal cord that hooks into your iPod. This new version loses the cord, making this stylish receiver the only way to say, “I am such an important executive that I walk around with my earpiece always in my ear ready to make those important business decisions. You’ll find this as, yes again, Think Geek ($29.99).
