Geke Wouters’ Eatable Dishes… and cups too!
We have tortillas that serve as salad bowls. We have loaves of bread for soup and dip. Now, German manufacturer, Geke Wouters, has invented a series of 100% vegetable and fruit drinkware and dishes. I didn’t know I needed that until now.

All the materials are fully eatable, 100% biological disposable and “tasty.” I’m just not sure about the “tasty”, but I’m open to just about anything.

The 3D vegetable material is currently available in different organic materials and forms like bowls, a vase (?), plates and cups. If you’re looking for that personal touch, they can be embossed or stamped with your logo.
However, there are a few things to worry about. For example, when the material is in a high-humidity environment, the material becomes weaker and more flexible. (So why the vases?) In a constant high-humid environment, or when the material gets wet, the material “will perish.”
Darn. So much for my plan to open a combo Al Fresco juice bar and flower shop. My dream – gone.
Still, I can see myself at the mall (after my walk) eating a salad from Saladland out of one of these. Yum.

It can feel down out there blogging and not taking anyone comment or answer back even if you experience folks are visiting.) I always suppose of annotates like applause, even if they are painful.

Um, I’ll pass, thanks. Until they make them from Soylent Green.
