Top 8 Scent Diffusers
I’ve become a fan of diffusers. Candles can cloud the air, while diffusers are clean. They’re also beautiful and look great in a powder room, or on a kitchen counter.
Here are eight great styles
1. Alora Ambiance
Alora’s scents are splendid and the diffuser is nice. They feature a cloth label from the designer or company who created the scent. And there are a wide variety of scents to choose from. My only complaint is that I don’t like labels. You can’t peel these off. The 16 oz. diffusers last for 4 -6 months and sell for $80.00. If you live in Detroit, you can find them at Barney’s Co-Op. They sell an 8 oz size for $58.00.
2. Manhattan Diffusion

I like these diffusers from, Manhattan Diffusion, a lot. They’re glass and come in several sizes and shapes. The largest, Classic” size (500 ml) sells for $48.00. They sell a mini for $14.00.
3.  K Hall Designs

The scents from K Hall Designs are really the thing here. They’re very sophisticated and use high quality ingredients. They have a label, but I like the style. If the diffuser is set among some other tabletop items, I think it won’t look so much like a product. You can buy these locally at Scout, in Royal Oak.
4. Votivo

What’s not to like here? I ask you! Votivo’s diffuser is the loveliest ($50.00). They’re famous for their red current scent.
More scented beauty!
5. Illume

Here’s another feminine and decorative diffuser I really like. Scents from Illume are different. I like Ocean ($36.00).
6. Aquiesse

Ah, the exotic collection, from Aquiesse! It’s so savage. Actually, I just like the bottle shape. This was recommended by a friend who swears it’s soft and sophisticated. After all, it’s really about the scent. You need to choose a good quality scent or your room will smell like you sprayed it with Glade. Super fruity. Editorial comment: I don’t like food scents, like apple cinnamon and green apple. They smell like trailer park to me. Just saying.
7. Geodesis

This is another favorite actually because I love the label. The diffusers from Geodesis look like a little stamp ($65.00). I ran across this French brand at Shine, a home store in Royal Oak. You can buy most scents online. Or, give them a call.
8. Infusion Organique
Finally, a colorful option from Infusion Organique. Natural scents in a beautiful diffuser. They come in two sizes and sell for $90.00 and $56.00.
Jennifer’s tip: Don’t over-scent your home. The powder room, guest bath, your bath and maybe the kitchen are enough. Be careful in the kitchen that the scent doesn’t interfere with what you’re cooking. Finally, I think these make great gifts and even better hostess gifts. Much better than a bottle of wine.
