Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m taking the rest of the week off to celebrate Thanksgiving. My mother is arriving this evening. Our Thanksgiving traditions include Cranberry Pudding with Rum Sauce (more like a cake – I’ll give you the recipe in time for Christmas). We follow that with a rousing game of 99 where cheating is encouraged depending on how much wine we’ve consumed.

Friday I’ll be at the Detroit Institute of Arts to see the Avedon exhibit. I’ve been looking forward to that for a while.
