Grease is an issue. If you want to do this in real life (this was a show house) you would need to treat the fabric. Or, you can achieve the same look using stencils on the cabinets in a style that reflects the style of the fabric you use. The Stencil Library has some toile stencil patterns.

That’s such a fantastic re-do! It’s really a nice tiny kitchen for entertaining. I mean, what else do you need besides some trays, glassware, cheese and pate in the fridge and some champagne?
