Scout Brings Hip Style to Detroit
Yay! We have a new home store in Royal Oak (a suburb of Detroit) and it’s a happening shop. Scout opened its doors a few weeks ago. Owners Keith and Pam McLenon, wanted to create a shop filled with things that both useful and make people smile. They’ve definitely succeeded.

Scout is located at 508 S Washington. They carry home decoration merch from Jonathan Adler, K Hall, Marimekko to name just a few. They also sell vintage things.
It’s a good thing my nephew doesn’t read my blog because I’m buying him a bar set disguised as a first aid kit for Christmas. It has beakers for mixing and test tubes for shots. I want one, but I’m too old to get drunk without embarrassing myself. Then again, just one shot might be okay. Speaking of which, I didn’t get a shot of the set. Trust me, it’s cool.
MORE

I digress. Really, I could find something for everyone on my list at Scout.

They’re not online, but they’ll be happy to help you out with gift suggestions if you give them a call at 248-548-1065. After you’ve made your purchase, be sure to post a photo of it on Bought in Detroit’s site.
It’s nice to have more options in our fair city. Scout joins Hugh on my top list of home stores in Detroit.
