I tried it on my futon and it worked great! It is still soft when you touch it. The futon was a beige color with stains on it from my cat drooling on it! I used the Saddle Brown and it covered all of the drool water marks and it looks new again! 5 stars from me!!! I just saw this in the NY Times the other week.
