Thanks for recommending the book – inspiration for that long-awaited cottage by the sea…
My favourite summer… spent on the coast in Brittany with my parents (yes really!) and my first child. It was my first time on holiday with Eve and my husband couldn’t get away from work but I as desperate for a change of scene. It was the most blissfully relaxed time with crunchy sea-shell beaches, wine baguettes and cheese, oysters, lots of laughs with my folks – who only get better with age. And we stayed in … a cottage by the sea!
