Chair of the Day: Grange’s Salisbury Chaise

Yay! Chair of the Day is back where it should be. Front and center. Please excuse me if I don’t get to it every single day. Things are busy here at Design Hole World Headquarters. :-)

Today’s selection is from Grange. They make exquisite furniture – hand crafted I might add. Their Salisbury Chaise looks terrific in this crushed raspberry velvet, doesn’t it? It gives the traditional style a more contemporary feel. This actually reminds me of the chaise Betty Draper put in her living room on last season’s Mad Men. Don’t you think?

Okay, so what’s your opinion of a chaise? Is it something you’d like to have but wouldn’t spend the money on? Does it seem to frou frou for your style? What room would you put one in? I’d choose a bedroom (of course) or a living/family room. But please, not in front of the fireplace. Opinions?
