Chair of the Day: 111 Navy Chair
This recycled version of Emeco’s classic Navy chair was unveiled last week at the Salone in Milan. Each chair is made from 111 plastic Coca-Cola bottles (hence the name). They come in six colors and list at $230.
Did you know that the classic version of this chair was originally designed for the Navy and is made of aluminum. It had to be lightweight for use on submarines. It has become a favorite of set deigners. Dr. House has a set in his office. Where have you seen them?
