Chair of the Day: Henry Beguelin Milady Chair
I spent last weekend at our friends’ beautiful home in Rhinebeck, New York. Everything about their home is perfection. But that’s not why I’m writing about this chair. Not only is their home perfect, Renée has a beautiful handbag by Henry Beguelin. I had to check out their other styles (and shoes, too), when I came across his home furnishings and this chair in particular. Sigh.
His take on the classic butterfly chair, dubbed the Milady Chair, is very cool. Odd name, if you ask me, but cool chair. It’s made of antiqued metal and leather. It sells on his site for $1,795. Check out his handbags, too.
Chair of the Day: UO’s Butterfly
Ahhh, this takes me back. When I was little, my parents had one of these chairs. It was black canvas and I fit in it like a bird in a nest – all snuggled in. Sometimes we had to share because I think it was the only chair we owned, besides the sofa. Our dining room table was a door with legs attached by Dad.

This version is from Urban Outfitters. The leather cover looks great. What do you think of the $248 price tag?
