Chair of the Day: Apartment Sofa from Lee
Catalog companies, like Pottery Barn don’t manufacture their own furniture. They contract it out. I believe Pottery Barn uses Vanguard. Lee Industries sells under their own label, but also sells to other brands. Lee has a good sense of style and they’re priced really well.
Here’s one I like. Their Apartment Sofa is covered with Lee fabric was well. Not bad. I find it very difficult to find a fabric I like from the company that makes the furniture. Lee’s Apartment Sofa retails for around $1,100.
Chair of the Day: Camden Sofa from Crate & Barrel
This short week I’m focusing on inexpensive sofas that have some style. I think Crate & Barrel’s Camden Sofa makes the cut because of its clean lines, neatly constructed.
It’s a simple sofa you can dress up with pillows and a throw. A couple of large, square pillows stuffed in the corners, will soften the look. Or, use 2 rectangular pillows set evenly apart, for a contemporary look. At $899.00 I think it’s a good deal.
