Chair of the day: Pepper Kids Svan Chair

I don’t think I’ve ever featured a high chair before. So, woo hoo for firsts here at Design Hole!

This number sure isn’t like the one my son sat in. Svan has packed this with just about everything a baby could want. And a mom – I think including an ejection seat (just kidding). This is available at The Pepper Kids for $259.95.

Kast van een Huis

Kast Van Een Huis means “barn of a house,” but translates from Dutch directly as “closet of a house.”

This Dutch furniture company creates closets out of painted MDF. They can be fitted for hanging clothes or shelves.

Design inspiration comes from Dutch architecture of 17th and 18th century canal houses.

They’ve just come out with a child’s bed. Very cute.

If you’re lucky enough to live in Amsterdam, you can find these sold in local shops. The rest of us will just have to dream – or special order and pay dearly for shipping.

Does anyone have experience ordering and shipping furniture from Europe to the Us or the other way around)? I’ve never done it and wonder if it’s difficult.
