Drum Roll, Please! The Winner of the Design Hole Giveaway is:

This is a terrific book. I’m still enjoying Rebecca’s tips and inspiring drawings. So, first I’d like to thank her and Random House for donating her book, as well as Manolo’s.
And now, without further ado, the winner is:
Eileen!
Congratulations to Eileen for winning Rebecca Moses’ A Life of Style and Manolo’s New Shoes! I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
6 Weeks Of Giveaways! Domino’s Decorating Book
We’ve got only six weeks before Christmas and just five before the first night of Hanukkah arrives on December 11th. Better get those lists started! Make your first stop Design Hole. I’ve rustled up a pile of fantastic gifts and I’m giving them away – starting today.
First up is Domino’s Book of Decorating. This giveaway runs all week through Friday. I’ll announce the winner, chosen at random, on Saturday.

We were all so sad to see such a great magazine shut its doors. This book offers the best of their decorating how-to’s.

To enter, simply leave a comment under any of the Domino giveaway posts. I’d like to know what interior design subject you’d like to know more about. Is it color palettes? How to choose different fabric patterns that work together? More DIY projects? I’d love to know what you’re interested in.

Let me know your thoughts – long or short. The giveaway is open to anyone living in the contiguous United States and Canada. To avoid paying duty, I’ll ship it as a gift, because that’s what it is!
Custom Auto Design Giveaway
Yo! Don’t forget about my giveaway. I know it’s a little off-topic, but this book makes a great gift! Plus, it’s a hoot.

All you have to do is invent a car name and leave it in the comments. I’ll choose a winner at random on Friday. Easy!
If you need some ideas, visit my friend, Davezilla’s post on the subject. Be warned! You won’t stop laughing for a few hours. You have permission to steal any of his or my ideas (see earlier post). Cheers!
Auto Custom Interiors Giveaway
Now that I’ve piqued your interest, perhaps you’d like to own a copy of Automotive Custom Interiors.
I’m giving away my copy at the end of the week. I’ll announce the winner on Friday. All you have to do is invent a name for a car, like the Chevy Sub-Dude (that’s mine) and leave it in the comments under this post. Simple as pie. The book will be speeding its¬† way to your home on Saturday. The winner will be chosen at random.
Here are some more names: Ford Thrasher, Mercury Mix-Mix, Chevy Quincunx… I could go on all day.
Friday Favorite: Girl’s Guide to Decorating
I bought Abigail Ahern’s A Girl’s Guide to Decorating ($27.00 from Amazon) and have enjoyed reading through it. Abigail’s approach to decorating is highly creative and quirky. Her message? You don’t need tons of money to create a space that’s uniquely your own.

She offers advice on space planning and has lots of hot-to’s such as how to hang a mirror, make a shelf, and recycle things to make them cool – just to name a few. Her interiors are highly individual. You won’t find the same old formal rooms here. If you’re interested in learning how to mix things up you’ll enjoy A Girl’s Guide – even if you’re a boy.
A little PS: we bloggers have been told that we have to state when we’ve received a product as a gift. This was not. I paid cash money and bought it from Amazon.
